Buyer Beware. Later, at a Christmas party many of the female extras are adorned with the same anachronistic coiffure (this is supposed to be 1912 Moscow!). Set in the wake of the 1916 Easter Rising, a married woman in a small Irish village has an affair with a troubled British officer.

This is NOT true. I recently saw the film in a re-release at an art house and the Blue-ray disk perfectly reproduces the subtlety of the images with a film-like quality. And yet--SUCH amazing actors, many of them quite beautiful. You may think that that a huge majority of the customers rated the product five stars as I would have. I see I am past the return time but it was a very big disappointment. The movie keeps stopping and delaying the whole time.
Delivery perfect as usual... no problem there... but...Classic Doctor Zhivago film is a good edition in DVD format! I then looked at the 1 star reviews that were “purchaser verified.” What an eye opener! After a Jewish prince is betrayed and sent into slavery by a Roman friend, he regains his freedom and comes back for revenge. His novel succeeded because it ultimately spoke to the heart of average Russians. I just don't recommend it wholly. One of my most favourite movies of all time.
