The story is a major failing as well, there is never anything exciting, fun, suspenseful or thrilling, the events are incredibly predictable and rushed, the scientific errors- of which there are too many to list, though the ones involving the DNA specimens were the absolute worst- make the film ridiculous and you never feel the extent of what damage the storm will do. The music does nothing to match the movie's mood either, while the dialogue constantly feels awkward and almost as if the writers had little to no idea of how to make a movie script make any kind of sense. The only reason this movie got a 2 is I've actually seen worse. When a super cyclone threatens the entire American western seaboard, a lone meteorologist and a petroleum engineer must battle the elements to stop the threat. Luckily I rented the movie as part of my provider's subscription so it didn't cost me anything except time. The acting is stiff and the characters are not believable.

The most amazing thing is how the we're about to compile the worst actors on earth all in the same movie. If you love poorly assembled movies, you will love this one.
